Weigh in was good to me this morning!!
Although I didn't make it to the gym AT ALL last week, which is horrible, I lost weight!
I guess it goes to show that diet really does make a difference. Though I did indulge Saturday night, as my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We did share our meal, but I was still stuffed. And I ate a couple pieces of chocolate. I am trying to not just quit everything, and give myself a little break. I use to eat half the bag of sweets, but as long as i keep myself to a couple, I think thats fine. I love my sweets, so it would not be reality for me to cut them out all together.
On to the weigh in....

214.6!!!
Total weight loss = 4.4 pounds!
I am going to celebrate by hitting the gym tonight! Wahooooooo!

New Beginnings
Well I had a baby... wasn't planning on that. So he is now 7 months old and I am getting back into the swing of things. We are now a month into the new year, I have been "okay" at doing my workouts. Not super great. But i did join a gym, so I have to get my butt in gear. It would just be stupid of me to pay for something and not use it. The first two weeks i was super good. I went 4 times a week. But then the last two weeks, I sank back into a depression. Why does this happen? Why can't we remember how great it feels and just stick with it? I have a problem with staying motivated. Maybe its because I feel like I am working my butt off but no weight is coming off?
Anyway whatever the reason, its a stupid one, lol. I am now done having children, and I have no more excuses. So My goal is to make it to the gym 4 times a week. seriously. I feel so much better when i go! I am a better wife and a better Mother when i take that time for myself. I read the last post i did and I am still okay with those weight loss goals. So we are going to keep them.
I really hesitate sharing this with you, but I have to start somewhere. I am ashamed, but ready to start a new life. My starting weight is 219.
Goals
1. lose 70 pounds overall
2. lose 2 pounds a week
3. weigh in on Monday. (new blog every Monday to report my progress)
4. drink my full 8 glasses of water a day
5. learn to love myself.
There ya go!
